By accessing or using the SkillBridge Ladder Hire portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Candidate Responsibilities

As a candidate, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your applications and profile. Misrepresentation of skills or experience may lead to immediate termination of access to the platform.

3. Platform Use

SkillBridge Ladder provides a platform to connect talent with opportunities. We do not guarantee employment or specific outcomes from using the platform.

4. Limitations of Liability

SkillBridge Ladder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

5. Underage Users & Parental Consent Policy

SkillBridge Ladder is committed to legal compliance regarding employment of minors. This section outlines the policies and protections for users under the age of 18.

5.1 Age Eligibility

Users of any age may register on the platform. However, users under the age of 18 ("Minors") are subject to additional requirements and restrictions as outlined below.

5.2 Parental / Guardian Consent

• All Minors must have verifiable parental or legal guardian consent before registering on or using the platform.
• During registration, the parent/guardian must provide their full name, email address, and phone number.
• The parent/guardian must explicitly check the consent checkbox confirming they authorize their child to use the platform.
• SkillBridge Ladder reserves the right to verify parental consent and may contact the parent/guardian for confirmation.

5.3 Work Restrictions for Minors

In compliance with the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (as amended in 2016) and other applicable laws:

• Under 14: No employment or work of any kind is permitted through this platform. Users under 14 may only browse educational content.
• Ages 14–18 (Adolescents): May participate in non-hazardous internships and skill-building activities only, with parental consent.
• Work Hours: Minors shall not work more than 6 hours per day, with mandatory rest intervals. No work is permitted between 7:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• Education Priority: Work must not interfere with the minor's education. SkillBridge Ladder encourages and supports continued schooling.
• Prohibited Tasks: Minors shall not be assigned work that is hazardous, physically demanding, or inappropriate for their age.
• Supervision: All activities involving minors must be supervised and monitored.

5.4 Parent / Guardian Responsibilities

• The parent/guardian is responsible for monitoring their child's activity on the platform.
• The parent/guardian may revoke consent at any time by contacting our support team, which will result in immediate suspension of the minor's account.
• The parent/guardian agrees that SkillBridge Ladder acts as a facilitator and does not serve as an employer of the minor.

5.5 Reporting & Compliance

Any concerns regarding the employment or treatment of minors on this platform can be reported to our support team at support@skillbridgeladder.in. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Certificates & Verification

SkillBridge Ladder issues digital certificates to users who have successfully completed their assigned roles or internships. These certificates:

• Are uniquely identified and can be verified at hire.skillbridgeladder.in/verify.
• Are issued at the sole discretion of SkillBridge Ladder based on successful completion of duties.
• May not be altered, forged, or misrepresented in any manner.
